This postal building in Ostend closed its doors in 1999, but reopened as cultural center De Grote Post in December 2012. When the postal building was converted into a culture factory, the original structures remained legible and experienceable.
Today the offer consists of theatre, comedy, circus and music. In addition, there is the possibility to relax in the Cultural Café. De Grote Post guarantees atmosphere in a historic building with national appearance, within walking distance of the sea. This is a conceptual project.

‘Mensen Zeggen Dingen’ is a platform for poetry and performance that originated in the Netherlands and grew further in Belgium. A string of fascinating guests bring comedy, spoken word, poetry, theatre, stand-up, hard-hitting lectures and doggerel of the highest level.
Both style and colors with which communication is conveyed are very recognizable characteristics. It is therefore very accessible for all future flyers, booklets, cards, posters… to create the appropriate illustrations.
